Behar-Bechukosai

                                         

The theme of 7 repeats time and again,

 In the reading of this week’s parsha,

For things that are called “Shabbas Shabbason”,

Shabbos, Yom Kippur, and Shmita.

Shabbos occurs each 7th day,

Yom Kippur’s month is 7 as well,

Shmita arrives every 7th year,

And 7 of those make Yovel.

And for treating HaShem in a casual way,

Our Klalos will come down in 7’s,

But we prefer Brachos to Klalos for sure,

So we’ll tithe as instructed from Heaven.
