Re’eh
Too often we’re oblivious,
To what is wrong or right,
And sometimes we just want to do,
What seems good in our sight.
Blessings come when we show regard,
For what was taught to our Fathers and Mothers,
And give thanks and respect to Him above,
And show love for our sisters and brothers.
What brings a curse may not seem so wrong,
It may even seem good, in fact,
Like following dreamers whose words are not true,
Or roasting a plump Duchiphat.
